Our goals go beyond climate change and biodiversity enhancement
We see opportunities for our investments to deliver positive outcomes for the communities in and around our properties. We are actively looking to engage with our community stakeholders and Indigenous groups.
We understand that the Indigenous people of Canada have deep cultural and spiritual ties to the land and acknowledge their historic efforts in defending and protecting the natural environment. We believe our industry and efforts toward conserving Canadian forestlands can benefit significantly from their participation.
As our business grows, we will look to create, facilitate, and support opportunities for our local community members and the Indigenous people of Canada to play a meaningful role in our projects through consultation, collaboration, and career or educational opportunities.
If you’re an Indigenous educator, farmer, researcher, environmental services contractor, or an individual interested in discussing one of our projects, we’d like to hear from you.
